Look books are the best places for fashion inspiration when it comes to shoots 🙂 We’re absolutely loving Top Shop’s latest Scandi Girl collection. Can’t wait for the wedding season to wind down so we can get rolling with the fashion shoots again!

featured | Green Wedding Shoes – PAN AM Inspired Wedding
Inspired by the hit ABC show, PAN AM, Frances of Charmed Events Group did a wonderful job creating an inspiration wedding based off of the PANAM era, capturing the airline’s main details, motifs and spirit. The color palette of sky blue, navy blue and yellow was one that we fell in love with after this shoot. Beside the color scheme, design motifs of stripes and hot air balloons added that dash of whimsy that would make hearts wither.

We were privileged to have the opportunity to shoot on the facilities of the Oakland Aviation Museum, where a myriad of vintage planes lounged, including one of only two authentic PAN AM planes that remain today (the other one is nearly dilapidated and sits in New Zealand – the one we shot on was the one they used during filming of the first Indian Jones movie – how exciting is that?!).
There were so many great images and we’re going to share just a few more of our favorites that weren’t in the feature 😉  Be sure to view more photos and read the feature here!

A short film by Viet Mac was also shot during this shoot, so get ready to “fly away with us” with all the design and details captured at the Oakland Aviation Museum!
It was such a pleasure to work with such a talented team of creatives!
Romantic Vintage Inspired Bridal Shoot
Sigh… You can never go wrong with vintage and romance, as they are always such a pretty duo.

Tiny dancer

“Hold me closer, tiny dancer
Count the headlights on the highway
Lay me down in sheets of linen
You had a busy day today.”
They were so young and yet danced with such elegance. I can only imagine how they will probably flutter and float on stage as their dance careers progress. Such young talent and passion is so inspiring.
Nagi Noda
A true visionary and a personal inspiration. Her works transcend boundaries and really embellishes the meaning of outside the box.

Dancing eyeballs, fitness-video-exercising poodles, half pandas/half other animals, and singing merchandise in a boutique store are only a few of the vivid, perplexing imaginings of Nagi Noda, the talented, eccentric and boundary-pushing artist, art director and fashion designer from Tokyo. Unfettered from any discipline or industry limits, Noda’s work extends from book design and music packaging, to short films, to music videos and commercials — including a hypnotic ad for Coca-Cola, with music by the White Stripes’ Jack White, commissioned by London agency Mother — and even to clothing design. Noda is signed with Partizan, a leading agency that represents cutting-edge directors, photographers and artists.
