Something to be glad about

Life gets wildy unexpected and crazy.
Yes, that’s a fact and it’s tough trying to deal sometimes. I always try to concentrate on the happy and the good things in life. But, what happens when things get too tough?

After being one to waste time worrying about things, people, situations and the worse-case scenario,  I’ve found that practicing gratitude has changed my life tremendously.

There are other things that can really make an impact on a more happy and meaningful life like…

Surrounding yourself with positive people

Spreading your sparkle

Not acting like the victim

Doing something that makes you happy

Staying busy

Meditating

FAME Presents x Content Magazine | Fashion Panel

A special thank you to Content Magazine and FAME Presents for organizing a Fashion Industry panel discussion last week. It was a such an inspiration to be amongst a group of inspiring and passionate panel of entrepreneurial innovators. What a great opportunity to be able to come together and immerse ourselves in conversation to share our experiences, insights and vulnerabilities in front of friends and strangers who all share one thing in common. Thank you to all that came out to support and listen!

There’s a quote that says “the busier you are, the more intentional you must be.” And we know plenty of talented artists who have been quite busy living life with passion and intent. One of these individuals is Japanese calligrapher and friend, Aoi Yamaguchi. We had a chance to catch up with her and her husband before the holidays and she’s always a happy shining gem of inspiration and positivity!

With the new year upon us very soon, here’s us wishing all those that we love and support all the intentional hope for joy and prosperity in the new year!

There’s something liberating about being on the road. Maybe it’s the thrill of discovering a new dystopia. And so we travel south, where we discover the strange branching formations of the Joshua Tree, with it’s twists and turns. Each tree is like an expression of individuality within the soul. A soul always in the process of coming to be, trying to achieve a new orientation. We are fascinated.

mexico | the place you thought you knew

We recently found ourselves in Mexico to catch some snaps.
The sunshine there was delicious, the ocean was refreshing, and the wind bracing.
There was really no such thing as bad weather there.

wedding | carlyn + ben

We had a great time shooting this Moonrise Kingdom themed wedding for Carlyn and Ben. When they first approached us, it was hard to resist because we’re huge fans of Wes Anderson’s movies!
