Christmas is near and it’s portrait time! Lidia and Tito showed up nicely dressed along with their Yorkshire terrier, Coffee, who was groomed and dressed in a gingham collar shirt and sweater vest… really adorable! I brought them some balloons and got the show started 🙂

Let’s talk baby


Karen and Albert were hitched back in August 2009, so you can imagine the sheer joy I felt when I heard that they had a little one on the way. It is exciting when clients are able to share the biggest news in their lives with me and for me to be so lucky to have the opportunity to capture each milestone.


These tiny shoes were darling!








Ironically, Albert had jokingly forewarned Karen that this would be the most exciting maternity shoot. Little did we know that he was right…

As soon as they started walking on the tracks, a train was well on its way. What an unforgettable experience! It is one of those moments when you think something may happen and it actually happens.

The colors of this dress that Karen picked out really brought out that beautiful mother aura in Karen.

This has to be by far my favorite maternity shoot to date. It was not quite sunny outside… overcast to be exact… but my absolute favorite weather to shoot in. Also, I have been playing around in Lightroom a lot and have created a new treatment that I adore. Every image is simply precious and even I am mesmerized by the delicate colors and undertones in each image. Hope you liked them too!

Three days in Los Angeles was a nice get away. Especially since it’s been rainy lately. It too must have been nice for New York starlet (and cousin) Brianne to escape the still cold New York for sunny Los Angeles. She is quite an angel to work with and it is such a joy to spend time with her for a quick headshot session while she was out visiting family. We shot at the Arboretum where even I could not outlast the warmth of the sunshine. Nonetheless, I was glad to be in Los Angeles too since it was still raining in Northern California. I think her photos came out perfect and they capture the warmth she herself radiates. Stay warm in New York and come back soon, Brianne 🙂

Mia + Hannah

Finally back from Costa Rica! Still haven’t unpacked since I’m off to Los Angeles again this Thursday.

Luckily, I had some time to do a delightful little shoot with two sweet little girls for their modeling portfolio, Mia and Hannah. Thanks again to Joli de Jackie for primping up the girls, although there was little primping necessary 😉

Mia’s baby sister, Hannah is such a cutie! We played little games while shooting where Hannah would dance, walk, hop, or fly like a plane, and I would say freeze.
