We finally got to see the notorious parrots of Telegraph Hill.
It was a delightful treat right before our bridal portraits with our soon bride-to-be, Jackie.

Yvonne and Tim’s special day nearly surpassed a magical fairy tale day and The Holly Farm had a lot to do with it as well. This beautiful venue, tucked away in the depths of Carmel Valley, was brimming with lush gardens and details. There were secret alcoves, where elves would hide if they existed, all around and altogether The Holly Farm was like a maze of a playground for everyone to roam.

It’s the interactions between the child and the parents that always puts a smile on our faces, especially the sheer joy that overcome parents when their child has grown, blossomed, and found their better half. It’s a story of born love into found love and finally into love blossoming, only to repeat time and time again.

We had the honor of being there for An and Evan’s traditional tea ceremony, a day before their actual wedding, which we weren’t able to cover due to a prior booking. Regardless, it was so nice to be able to see them nonetheless. All of our love and wishes go out to An and Evan and their dear families ❤

We were thrilled when Huong and Desmond mentioned that their wedding was going to be held at La Costanera Restaurant by Montara Beach. Stellar views, an amazing staff, and delicious food are all the reasons we love the restaurant and then some. The day couldn’t have been anymore perfect, considering how windy it can get at Montara Beach, but the sun did not shy away at all that day 🙂

Sarah was filled with giggles the entire time and we can see why! It was so great to be around a couple so happy in love. They both flew in from San Diego just to be married at the gorgeous San Francisco city hall and our own talented photographer, Lacey, even had the honors of signing as their witness 🙂

We’ve had people ask if we ever get tired of shooting at San Francisco’s beautiful City Hall and to be quite honest, we don’t. People might think that the shots are usually the same but every couple is so different, that their personalities bring out a different set of images each time. Take Ann and David for example, they started the morning off by helping each other get ready with their closest friends helping with hair and makeup, and tying up any other loose ends. When Ann put on her dress, David and we were in complete awe. Her dress seemed to capture the classic surroundings of city hall. And her veil, oh goodness that long veil that caught the wind so perfectly, like a feather floating to the ground.

They followed their nuptials with an after party right in their San Francisco backyard and instead of cutting the cake, they started the party off with a prosciutto slab cutting. Nom Nommm!

We had a great time covering Julie and Mike’s special night this past weekend and excited to share some teasers from their wedding!

They looked so amazing in the traditional Korean outfits for their Paebaek, a Korean wedding ritual where the groom’s family formally accepts the bride into their family.

This season has been filled with many weddings, and surprisingly, many of them have been more low-key and intimate. Devon and Chris’ is one wedding that we have enjoyed shooting and one that our talented photographers, Mark and Lacey, have captured with a certain beauty and calm. Our biggest congratulations to Devon and Chris, whose blossoming friendship led to something that will be forever wonderful.

In plain, Michelle and Alvin are just two cool cats. Like seriously cool. We love their energy and are so glad to have them as friends now! They definitely know how to have fun and it was one of the most entertaining weddings we’ve been to! Their beautiful day started at the Meridian Hotel and W Hotel with all of the getting ready details and then we made our way to the Terra Art Gallery for the ceremony and reception.

Alvin definitely understands the time constraints of weddings from his experience filming them, so he gave us three hours for bridal party portraits, allowing us plenty of time to get some great shots and goof off a little before their ceremony 🙂

I wanted to try something different so I decided to venture outside of the hotel this time for the dress and shoe captures. The red and white wall you see is a whole person taller than myself and luckily two construction workers walked by and caught me looking up at the wall in defeat and were kind enough to lend me a ladder to get the shot.
