engagement | daisi + kevin

Boy, was it hot when we shot Daisi and Kevin’s engagement session! It must have been at least 100 degrees out that day. Regardless, Daisi still looked so elegant with her 60s inspired hair and makeup by Joli de Jackie. Jackie always does such a flawless job and it’s always a pleasure working with her!

I love the little print-out note that Daisi brought!

These block letters were so adorable, I had to get it for Daisi and Kevin for their session.

Doesn’t Daisi look to gorgeous here? I love her dress! Simple yet so sophisticated.

Daisi and Kevin even brought their Beagle, who was howling with excitement the whole time 🙂

Stay tuned for photos from their wedding coming up in a few weeks!

Check out the fashion spread in the October 2010 issue for M Magazine. Special thanks to gorgeous model Megan, talented make-up artist Joli de Jackie and photographer’s assistant Rosann Yip for their work on this shoot! We did it. Many thanks to everyone at M Magazine as well!

engagement | michelle + lucas

Even the cold early midday breeze on Baker Beach couldn’t keep us from having a pleasant engagement shoot for Michelle and Lucas. Michelle is actually from Singapore and flew in for the weekend to do the shoot and visit her sweetheart Lucas. It is always so amazing to me how couples can endure such distances from one another but that’s love right?

Just like mangos

“Just like mangos, our photo cards are sweet, fresh, and tasty and we carry them for every event and occasion in your life.”

This is Mango Ink’s slogan. Besides the catchy name, they are known for their “hip, retro, cool and unique digital photo cards for every occasion.” Their designs are modern, fresh, simple and enough to make anyone a fan. Mango Ink sprouted from a husband’s love for mangos and cards that are as sweet and tasty as the mangos he loves. He and his wife love even more that they could send the very cards they love, made with love, to the people they love. And that is what Vivian Sachs Photography loves as well.

Mango Ink only partners with selected photographers from around the world and it’s a wonderful feeling to be included in the list of the amazing photographers already teamed up with Mango Ink! Even more exciting is that all of Mango Ink’s products are readily available to any Vivian Sachs Photography client. Now clients can have any photo from A Vivian Sachs photo session turned into one of any beautiful designs designed by Mango Ink:

Mia + Hannah

Finally back from Costa Rica! Still haven’t unpacked since I’m off to Los Angeles again this Thursday.

Luckily, I had some time to do a delightful little shoot with two sweet little girls for their modeling portfolio, Mia and Hannah. Thanks again to Joli de Jackie for primping up the girls, although there was little primping necessary 😉

Check out some the photos from the shoot! You can view more images on my facebook.

Mia

Mia’s baby sister, Hannah is such a cutie! We played little games while shooting where Hannah would dance, walk, hop, or fly like a plane, and I would say freeze.
