We love Joann and Ken! Besides them being one of the most adorable couples we’ve worked with,  they were so comfortable in front of the camera that their special day was a breeze to shoot and a great experience.  I remember showing up at city hall and Joann was all smiles, wearing a beautiful white dress and holding a giant bouquet of yellow roses that really added to her simple elegance. They both nailed every shot and direction I threw at them and we had a lot of fun. It felt like a real celebration, and it was great to share the day with them. Joann and Ken also surprised me when they asked me to sign as their witness, and I am so honored. Joann’s mom even jokes and says I’m part of the family now 🙂

Family is of the utmost importance to Andi and Mike and after doing several family portraits for them we were really happy to be shooting their wedding. Andi and Mike had us shoot their engagement photos, their nuptials, and the day they said their “I do’s” in front of all their family and friends, and it was great to get to know them pretty well over the last two years. Each wedding has it’s own special little details and is beautiful in its own way, and for this one we focused our cameras on the more candid, intimate moments with a family that we’re glad to have met.

Jasmin and Scott were all smiles on their wedding date and who could blame them. All their closest family and friends were there to witness their union 🙂 Jasmin was absolutely stunning in her lace dress and Scott well-prepped in his suit!

Julie and Brenton’s wedding had, to say the least, a lot of steez (aka style). But that is no surprise, considering Julie is a fashion stylist and Brenton is one of LA’s finest celebrity hair stylists. Their color palette of yellow and teal fit their personalities perfectly. Noor, set in Los Angeles, was the place where they said they vows under an amazing full moon and where the party went down. There was so much good energy and vibrations all around. Not to mention lots of surprise dance numbers and some!

Jinny and Bernhard got married at the Clos la Chance winery in San Martin and it was one great celebration! They had family all the way from Taiwan and Germany come to attend their special day and it was definitely one to remember for all!

We had the pleasure of joining Andi and Mike at their nuptials at San Mateo City Hall. Funny how you can get a marriage license via a computer station nowadays – technology eh? But regardless, Andi and Mike will be celebrating their special day in Half Moon Bay in just a few weeks from now, which we’re super excited about!

Never in their wildest dreams did they Ali and Quinn think a child’s game would change their lives forever, but it did. Fate had a way of ensuring that they were both in the right place at the right time in their lives, even through they had similar life journeys. “And of all the places in the world and various points in time, it wasn’t high school, it wasn’t college, it wasn’t work, or a party, or a grocery store, or through a friend – but rather, Fate chose an adult kickball league?”

Regardless of how funny Fate is sometimes, these two are finally together and we’re so happy for their love of no bounds!

This sounds like a cheesy story, but I remember seeing Dahye in one of my college classes and thinking how awesome it would be to be her friend. Then after college, we reconnected at a mutual friend’s soiree. Since then we always tried to meet up as much as we could to catch up on current events, travel plans, projects and our attempts of finding love.  It was probably early 2011 since the last time I had lunch with Dahye and then our busy schedules got in the way. Then, in August 2011, while taking a late night break from editing to see how all my good friends were doing via Facebook… yes, Facebook of all things… Dahye chanegs her status to “engaged”… a huge surprise… but more importantly, she finally found the love of her life!

Loving, caring, considerate, and funny as hell pretty much sums up Gil, and it’s apparent why Dahye fell in love with him… even if he is a tad shorter than her 😛

It was such an honor to be there on Dahye and Gil’s special day and to celebrate an everlasting-found-love for a friend I’ll cherish for life.  I’m so excited for them and their future lives together!
