Aurelie reached out to us wanting to gift a portrait session for her boyfriend, who’d been wanting nice portraits of themselves ever since they met. We thought it was very endearing when they said they wanted to document places that were significant to the beginnings of their relationship and relive some of their first date moments 🙂

These two are absolutely smitten with each other and we’re so happy we were able to help them relive their happy beginnings ❤

Though she became a household name for her Victoria’s Secret persona, Adriana Lima continues to prove it takes more than swimwear to standout at the top. In her cover story for Interview Germany April 2014, the supermodel mainstay is as bold as ever in graphic black and white. Minimal in styles by Julia von Boehm, we love Adriana’s magnetic gaze and edgy poses captivate under photographer Robbie Fimmano’s stark shadow play.

In plain, Michelle and Alvin are just two cool cats. Like seriously cool. We love their energy and are so glad to have them as friends now! They definitely know how to have fun and it was one of the most entertaining weddings we’ve been to! Their beautiful day started at the Meridian Hotel and W Hotel with all of the getting ready details and then we made our way to the Terra Art Gallery for the ceremony and reception.

Alvin definitely understands the time constraints of weddings from his experience filming them, so he gave us three hours for bridal party portraits, allowing us plenty of time to get some great shots and goof off a little before their ceremony 🙂

I wanted to try something different so I decided to venture outside of the hotel this time for the dress and shoe captures. The red and white wall you see is a whole person taller than myself and luckily two construction workers walked by and caught me looking up at the wall in defeat and were kind enough to lend me a ladder to get the shot.

We almost had to reschedule Gil’s retirement portrait due to rain but luckily we kept the date and the sun came shining the day of the shoot. Gil thought it’d be great to have some photos of him with two of the many things he loves in life: his grandson and classic cars. He brought out his beautiful 1930’s Ford Model A, which is in pristine shape and his little grandson showed up in cap and suspenders and was looking just adorable.

For Annie and Brian’s session, they wanted their portraits to have a little more meaning to them, so they suggested a place where they go every year for their anniversary and also where Brian proposed to Annie. We couldn’t help but get distracted by the beautiful ocean overlook and the lush green hills scattered with bright orange poppies and calla lilies and we’re really excited to share some images from their session!

We had a great time with these girls, who were visiting San Francisco from Florida for their spring break with their parents!
Nothing like a romp in Golden Gate and then ice cream to top things off 🙂

Tracy and John originally had plans for a Californian wedding in the states but the Hawaiian oasis of romance and tranquility won them over. The fact of having their closest friends and family all coming to Hawaii to celebrate with them was all that really mattered ❤

It was as if the rain clouds foresaw the sprinkling of tears that would prevail for most of Annie and Dan’s special day at Auberge du Soleil. Everyone seemed to be tearing up that morning and it was clear that Annie was still her daddy’s little girl. We, of course, could not hold back tears behind the camera as well.
