We were greeted with open arms and a house full of pets when we arrived at Carlyn and Ben’s home in the beautiful Californian woods. Their family comprised of a german shepherd named Justice and two persians with lots of character and sass. We’re pretty excited to share some of our favorite images from their session 🙂
Wendy and Lawrence are visiting from Malaysia for a friend’s wedding in San Francisco. It just so happens that they are engaged and they figured it would be an excellent opportunity to take engagement portraits. Being that it was Wendy’s first time ever in San Francisco, we figured we’d take them to a few of our favorite places 🙂

Baby Ava said “Hello” to the world just a week ago.
It’s Easter and we got to spend some time with these two boys today. We’re always so excited to see these boys each year and this time Oz is turning four years old and Zander is now two, the same age that Oz was when we first met the family. Time certainly flies but sweets never cease to get the boys’ attention during our portrait sessions with them. Today, they got their essential sugar high with a some cookies and a lollipop each and the excitement in their faces were just too cute!
It’s always a delight when couples bring their pets out to the engagement session. This time we had the pleasure of meeting Harley, a handsome one-year old boxer full of personality.
We can’t wait to see Jessica and Dan again later this year for their wedding!
Happy birthday to precious little Sydney, whose growing up to be the quite the ham-full 😉

After a week of rain, we finally got sunshine in the city over the weekend.

Aurelie reached out to us wanting to gift a portrait session for her boyfriend, who’d been wanting nice portraits of themselves ever since they met. We thought it was very endearing when they said they wanted to document places that were significant to the beginnings of their relationship and relive some of their first date moments 🙂
These two are absolutely smitten with each other and we’re so happy we were able to help them relive their happy beginnings ❤
In plain, Michelle and Alvin are just two cool cats. Like seriously cool. We love their energy and are so glad to have them as friends now! They definitely know how to have fun and it was one of the most entertaining weddings we’ve been to! Their beautiful day started at the Meridian Hotel and W Hotel with all of the getting ready details and then we made our way to the Terra Art Gallery for the ceremony and reception.
Alvin definitely understands the time constraints of weddings from his experience filming them, so he gave us three hours for bridal party portraits, allowing us plenty of time to get some great shots and goof off a little before their ceremony 🙂
I wanted to try something different so I decided to venture outside of the hotel this time for the dress and shoe captures. The red and white wall you see is a whole person taller than myself and luckily two construction workers walked by and caught me looking up at the wall in defeat and were kind enough to lend me a ladder to get the shot.

For Annie and Brian’s session, they wanted their portraits to have a little more meaning to them, so they suggested a place where they go every year for their anniversary and also where Brian proposed to Annie. We couldn’t help but get distracted by the beautiful ocean overlook and the lush green hills scattered with bright orange poppies and calla lilies and we’re really excited to share some images from their session!
We’re just as excited for these two and can’t wait to see them again on their special day ❤
