It’s been 10 years for JE and we had a great time celebrating their 10 year anniversary at the Folsom Street Foundry. It was great to see some faces that we’ve had the pleasure of working with the past few years, as well as many new fresh faces! Here’s just a rundown of all the lovelies that we got to work with. Our session with Eddie was one filled with captivating giggles and smiles. It didn’t take much to make him smile and it was as if he had known too that we were all celebrating his 100th day of life. A milestone in a babies life we would think. Happy 100th birthday Eddie!
Meet Dianne, David and Dumpling. We had a great time with these three and it seems like couples have been requesting the inclusion of their pet buddies in their engagement session a lot lately. Lucky for us, Dumpling is probably one of the most mellow canine we’ve worked with 🙂 Here are some of our favorites!
When Evelyn first contacted me, she mentioned that she loves brightness, warm weather, and colors but other than that, she left the options for location wide open, so I chose one of my favorite places in the city, Flora Grubb 🙂 When the day for their session finally rolled around, it was everything but bright and warm that day. The fog had just rolled in before I met up with them and it was starting to get cold. It was a bummer that the weather wasn’t so great for Evelyn and Peter’s engagement session but despite the cloudy weather, they still managed to keep their spirits high and were very playful with each other 🙂
We love Joann and Ken! Besides them being one of the most adorable couples we’ve worked with,  they were so comfortable in front of the camera that their special day was a breeze to shoot and a great experience.  I remember showing up at city hall and Joann was all smiles, wearing a beautiful white dress and holding a giant bouquet of yellow roses that really added to her simple elegance. They both nailed every shot and direction I threw at them and we had a lot of fun. It felt like a real celebration, and it was great to share the day with them. Joann and Ken also surprised me when they asked me to sign as their witness, and I am so honored. Joann’s mom even jokes and says I’m part of the family now 🙂
Three cheers and many kisses to come for Joann and Ken! We can’t wait to see them again for their big day early next year!
Angela and Gary have been together for three years now and it really shows when they get in front of a camera. We loved  both of their energies, lack of timidness, and their unhindered affection towards each other. They really care about each other, and we were happy to document such a great couple and their dog in such a beautiful location.
This beautiful fall wedding was tucked away in the lush forests of the Santa Lucia Mountains at the charmingly chic Carmel Valley Ranch.

These two were such dolls. I could immediately see the two were complete opposites when I started interacting with them. Riley is the more rambunctious one while Emma is a little more reserved but quite curious. Emma is about two seconds younger than Riley. And it takes about two seconds for Riley to fall sound asleep… as she did towards the end of the session… facedown. Check out these two cuties!
And… photoshoot is done for Riley but Emma is still going 🙂

As if things aren’t already exciting enough around the studio… we get even more excited. Recently, we got the opportunity to meet the delightful Yu family and their two probably future heart-breaking heart-throb sons, Marcos and Luca 😉  Check them out and see if you can stop from melting!
